Demolition of Existing Surge Tank and Construction of a Duplex Stainless Steel Surge Tank with Foundation  per Springfield Water and Sewer Commission specifications.  The estimated cost for this project is approximately $3,810,000.00.  Specifications can be obtained from the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission, Springfield Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, 250 M Street Extension, Agawam, MA 01001. 

There will be a MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING held at the West Parish Filter and Treatment Plant, 1515 Granville Road, Westfield MA 01085 at 9:00 A.M. on December 1, and December 3, 2009.  Bidders MUST ATTEND one of these meetings.

All proposals must be received by December 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at which time they will be opened and read in the Commission's bid room.  The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.  Proposals are accepted at the Springfield Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, 250 M Street Extension, Agawam, MA 01001.
